This game shows so much promise. The locomotion did not make me feel sick at any moment and the communication between teams when everyone goes diving for the disc is fantastic.

The game has a very D&D type feel to it, which is absent from every other social VR experience. In the beginning I make it sound like everyone plays through steam. I meant to say I am playing with my Rift via steam. The cross-platform play is accomplished via Uplay.

Sitting and using a gamepad, Thumper still instills me with a small sense of presence at times. The combination of single button joystick direction controls, music, input induced trance states, the abstract visuals, and the pacing of the game likely are responsible for this.

there is no point, this is a bad example
In classical programming, you need to write down explicit instructions on what the agents need to do. In machine learning, you just tell it how it should observe the world and what actions are permissible base on these observations. Then you simulate and have it learn from its experiences (much like a human).
